The Project has been developed on the 35.88 acres land at the Meghnaghat Complex provided by BPDB to the Company on a long-term lease under the Land Lease Agreement. The power generated by the Project has been evacuated through the existing 400 kV network of Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB). The Company has secured all necessary approvals and permits and maintaining 100% compliance for the project,and will be commencing commercial operation shortly.

Project Scheme:
The Project will be developed on the 35 acres land at the Meghnaghat Complex of BPDB provided to the Company on a long-term lease under the Land Lease Agreement. The power generated by the Project will be evacuated through the existing 400 kV network of Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB). The Company has secured all necessary approvals and permits and will be commencing construction of the Project shortly.
JERA Meghnaghat Power Limited (the “Company”) is a 100% foreign-owned company incorporated in Bangladesh for setting up a 718 MW (net) gas fired combined cycle power project at Meghnaghat, Narayanganj.
