As part of corporate social responsibility JERA Meghnaghat Power Limited has organized One month long Tailoring Training from 03 Decmeber-2023 to 04 January 2024 at Islampur Primary School, Sonargaon, Narayanganj.35(Thirty-Five) female participants took this skill development training. Every trainee received one training completion certificate and one three pieces set.
The Project will be developed on the 35 acres land at the Meghnaghat Complex of BPDB provided to the Company on a long-term lease under the Land Lease Agreement. The power generated by the Project will be evacuated through the existing 400 kV network of Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB). The Company has secured all necessary approvals and permits and will be commencing construction of the Project shortly.
JERA Meghnaghat Power Limited (the “Company”) is a 100% foreign-owned company incorporated in Bangladesh for setting up a 718 MW (net) gas fired combined cycle power project at Meghnaghat, Narayanganj.
